Lily Emmaline Truscott (played by Emily Osment) is a fictional tv character who is the best friend of Miley Stewart in the Hannah Montana tv series.

Here’s a little-known fact for you: during production, Lily’s name was not Lily Truscott, but Lily Romero!

She has always been a massive fan of Hannah Montana, even after she accidentally discovers that Hannah is actually her best friend Miley. She is also the first person outside of Miley’s family, to learn of her secret identity.

Miley allows her to act as her personal assistant ‘Lola,’ thus enabling Lily to experience the high-flying lifestyle of a popular teen sensation.

Lily’s personality could be described as loud, outgoing and fun-loving. Her famous catch-phrase is ‘Eeeep!!’ which she yells out aloud whenever she gets excited about something. She’s also known to do a happy dance and exclaim ‘Ooh, Lily likey!’ or ‘Ooh, Lola likey!’ when she is super excited.

Although in episodes such as ‘I Am Hannah, Hear Me Croak’ and ‘Get Down Study-udy-udy,’ she doesn’t seem tone-deaf when singing, it is mentioned in ‘Song Sung Bad’ that none of her family members could properly sing.

In the first season of Hannah Montana, she is depicted as more of a tomboy, but becomes much more girly as the series progresses. For instance, she insists on wearing contact lenses instead of glasses since they make her look better. She also loves Miley’s vast collection of shoes and likes wearing ‘cool’ outfits.
