Snake Eyes is a popular fictional character from a line of Hasbro’s military-themed toys titled ‘G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.’ In fact, he is one of the original members of the team and toy line, and also plays an important role in the animated series and comic book series of the same name.

The character is also depicted in G.I. Joe: Sigma 6, making an appearance in both the comic book and the animated series. He is most known for his fierce rivalry with a man called Storm Shadow.

Snake Eyes is actually a code name for one of the members of the G.I. Joe team. There exists very little background on him; much of his history, including his real name, birthplace, as well as other vital details about him, have remained mysteriously classified through the years.

All that is known about his military talent is that he has undergone intensive Drill Sergeant training in the past, was a former U.S. Army Special Forces Operative at one time, and currently holds the rank of U.S. Army Sergeant First Class.

Snake Eyes functions as G.I. Joe’s chief hand-to-hand combat instructor. He is exceptionally quiet in his movements, and is a highly skilled master of several powerful and deadly martial arts techniques.
